Things I’ve Been Loving: November

Okay so I know I’ve just posted a monthly, wrap-up style post (if you missed that then you can check it out here) but November’s been a busy month for me and I have more things to say!

This time round I want to focus on the small products that have kept me going and made me happy this month.

Wild World: Bastille

As you might have seen in my last post, I was lucky enough to see Bastille in concert in November. This is a band that I have loved for years but prior to the concert, I wasn’t too fussed about their latest album. Now however after hearing it live and listening to the stories behind each track, I am OBSESSED. This album is fantastic and so relevant to what’s going on in the world right now. If you ever feel unsure, lost or a bit scared about what you see on the news then you need this album in your life.

Shiny, Patent Boots

I bought these boots this month in what was a very cheeky purchase but I’m so glad I did! They’re something a little different to what I’d normally wear (I mean, they’re shiny!) but I love the way they look. I feel like they make any outfit look more put together, which makes me feel like less of a mess on a daily basis. Ha! They were a bargain at £12 from Primark and I can see me wearing these all throughout this season and beyond.

Hooped Earrings

I don’t know who I think I am or who I’m trying to be, but this month I’ve been loving wearing hoop earrings. I feel like they add a ‘trendy’ vibe to any outfit and fit in well with this obsession everyone seems to have with the 90s. Not sure if it’s something that suits me, but they’ve made me tragically happy this month.

Fairy Lights

Another Primark product! These beautiful fairy light, lanterns are from the VelvetGhost range in Primark and I love them. They look so cute in my university room and having fairy lights on is making me feel all festive.

False Nails

I’ve been experimenting with loads of different false nails this month and I’ve been having so much fun. My own nails don’t grow very long and tend to break easy. But having pretty, even nails is such a boost for my self-esteem so I thought I’d finally try false ones. These particular ones from Elegant Touch are my favourite and I got so many compliments on them. They lasted quite well and look so natural.

What have you been loving this month?

Speak soon,

Rachael.
